Rainbow Six Siege Has Hit The 30 Million Player Milestone Across All Platforms
Ubisoft would like to thank every one of you.
30 million people playing one game? To me that's mind blowing; it's fair to say that Rainbow Six Siege has been a smash hit. Since its release, the game's player numbers have steadily increased.
Back in August 2017, it was announced that Six had 20 million registered players. In December 2017 it had 25 million. Fast forward to today, where it now has a massive 30 million players. Broken down in months since its release (December 2015), it's averaging out at 1.07 million players per month. Ubisoft should be proud of themselves.
If you've not already watched the video above, I'd recommend doing so. It's a sweet little tribute to Rainbow Six Siege's 30 million player milestone. If you're outside of the UK you won't be able to watch it, as it's region locked. Sorry about that :(
Players have seen regular updates since the game released. From new operators and quality of life updates to the Operation updates, nothing has stayed the same. Plus with the increase of operators, it's getting more difficult to pick the perfect character (I assume, anyway). Choice is nothing but a good thing.
