Single Deck Blackjack is the most basic form of blackjack and it is also the easiest to learn. Players are dealt two cards per hand, with one card face up and one card face down. The goal of the game is to achieve a total that’s higher than that of the dealer without going over 21.
The game starts with players placing their bets on their hands, either by matching the amount of money they have in front of them or by placing an all-in bet. The dealer then deals two cards to each player and two cards to himself, starting with himself and moving clockwise around the table. If a player has a total that’s higher or equal to that of the dealer, he wins his bet back plus an additional amount equal to his original bet .
