European Roulette is a casino table game where players may bet on either a single number, various groupings of numbers, the colors red or black, whether the number is odd or even, or if the numbers are high (19-36) or low (1-18).
The table has a spinning wheel with 37 spaces. The layout of the wheel includes alternating red and black slots. The game starts by placing bets on one of these spaces. A croupier will then spin the wheel in one direction and then spin it again in the other direction after it has made one revolution. The ball will land on an empty slot and this determines which player wins and which player loses.
